Raya Continues

Our second day of Aidilfitri starts slow.
Second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri was undoubtedly a tiring one. Addeena could not take it anymore and dozed off. Kesian anak papa..

First Hari Raya

This is our second year celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri together with our beloved daughter Nur Addeena Zahra.. She was only a month old when we first celebrate it together as a family. For this year, we spent our first day of Aidilfitri at Tok Ayah's house in Seri Serdang.

It is normal for Addeena to wake up early in the morning so there is no problem preparing her. As a matter of fact, Addeena lah yang siap dahulu. She seems excited after we dressed her in her new baju kurung! However, she did not go to the mosque. She stayed home and had her daily dose of baby tv while eating nasi sunkiss made by Nek Bib.

Addeena's 1 Year Old Birthday

Addeena is turning 1 year old. So we decided to throw a birthday bash for her at Oma's house before the original birth date as the 3rd of August falls on the 3rd of Ramadan, the fasting month. The beautiful dress is a present from Oma & Tok Abah chosen by both Auntie Zehan and Izzah. Nek Bib and Tok Ayah gave Addeena a gold anklet. Thanks everyone!


It is more like an ad-hoc birthday party i would say. Oma cooked some bubur durian, Tok Abah ordered some dominos pizza and we bought a bucket of kfc and a blueberry cheese cake. So it is a feast for everyone. Poor Addeena however only ate her porridge and tasted her cake. hehe..

Led by Tok Ayah, everyone said our prayers including Addeena.. Among those present are Tok Mok, Aimi, Ong Nana, Abg Long, Kak Ina, Nelia and Adam.

Breakfast at MAEPS

Last Saturday Addeena went to MAEPS with her Oma, Tok Abah and Auntie Izzah for breakfast. Besides, Oma wants to stock up as Ramadan is near.

It is a good place to have breakfast as it offers varieties of food. Thanks to Oma, Addeena had a bowl of porridge mixed with beef stew. Or else sorry lah Addeena...

Wah! Bukan main lagi mommy and Tok Abah makan.

It is quite challenging to fed Addeena as she moved a lot these days. She had even greet strangers who sits on nearby tables and re-arrange the seats.. Hehe Deena.. Deena..

Addeena's Day Out

I must say that we had a great weekend last Saturday. It was Addeena's first trip to Aquaria KLCC. As a matter of fact it was her first trip to Kuala Lumpur. Hehe.. (teruknye papa) or else we will only be traveling from Sungai Besar to Serdang and sometimes went to Bangi or Putrajaya to shop. Apa nak buat.. Sungai Besar and Serdang is self sufficient already. Chewahh

Actually I consider the trip as a trip to pujuk and spent some quality time with Addeena. Because I had to attend an OSHA course in Shah Alam for the whole weekdays. Tinggallah Addeena and mommy alone. Kesian.. Luckily Nek Bib decided to come and accompany. Thanks Nek Bib!

Addeena had been a very good girl. She behaved herself during the whole trip. Although she is a little bit confused at first, minutes later she managed to overcome it and became excited later on.

The above picture shows both mommy and Addeena pointing and looking at the Sand Tiger Shark. Camera FLASH is not allowed to be used in Aquaria and it is hard to snap a nice picture as we went further inside as it becomes darker and darker.

Addeena's New Craze!

Wonder what is my little Addeena's new craze? Shoes! Addeena's new craze nowadays is her own shoes. She loves her tiny pink shoes so much! Last Saturday morning (upon wake up), she went straight to the shoe rack and pointed at her pair of shoe which is on the shoe rack and said uh! huh! while looking at me. She then grabbed it and gives it to me while repeatedly saying uh huh! So I asked her "Do you want papa to put your shoes on? " She replied uh huh! From now on, Addeena would wear her tiny pink shoes to nursery and every time she went out. Yeay!

Breaking News!

My little baby Addeena had just turned 11 months old yesterday and she can now walk on her own! Actually it all started when she was 8 months old when she first pull herself up to a standing position, cruising from one furniture to another, and take up 3 to 5 and sometimes 7 small walking steps. Seeing her walking milestone was undoubtedly one of the happiest days of my life! Yesterday she walked from our living room and steadily went to the kitchen. Well yeah she paused for a second and squat for a while but then she continued walking. I smiled upon seeing her progress and said to myself.."Dah besar dah anak papa..."

2nd Wedding Anniversary

Alhamdulillah tomorrow, 5th of June marks the date of our wedding anniversary. It will be another milestone for our marriage. I guess we will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary in hospital then. I had only managed to get Wani an anniversary card ... and that's all. I'm so sorry dear. I hope seeing Addeena's speedy recovery would be the best present ever.

Addeena had been warded since 31st of May in Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Sabak Bernam and later on transferred to Hospital Serdang on 2nd of June due to tonsillitis, viral fever and pneumonia.
She had improved a lot, thanks to Allah, all medical staff and both our family in Serdang for the continuous support. Hopefully, Addeena can be discharge tomorrow. Happy anniversary sayang.

False Positive result in Pregnancy

AM I PREGNANT ON NOT?

After being 5 days of missed period, I took a urine pregnancy test. I was shocked in the 1^st place when I saw double lines on the strip, but the test line was not so bright. It was a faint positive result. May be its too early (I thought)..

I told bb my husband regarding the result.. He was extremely happy at that time. The same happy face when I told him I was pregnant during Addeena’s time..

It was an unplanned pregnancy as Addeena is only 9 months old.. but Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah for giving “anugerah” to our family.. Manusia hanya mampu merancang, tetapi Allah yang menentukan segalanya.. Right?

Then today (16^th May 2011) I was so excited to scan my future baby… By right he/she should be at 6weeks period of gestation. Unfortunately, I could not find any intrauterine sac.. it was a perplexing dilemma.. Am I pregnant or not? After repeat scan by my specialist, it was confirmed no cavity in my uterus.. Then my specialist advised me to repeat upt and it was negative.. I AM NOT PREGNANT actually … It was false positive pregnancy test… False positive pregnancy results are not common but can occur in certain conditions..

Today I has my menses. It was 2 weeks late.. Never experienced like this before.

To bb.. sorry for giving you hope.. belum ada rezeki… we can try harder next time… =)

'Right' age gap?

Is there a 'right' age gap between sibling? Can someone please answer? To me there is no absolute 'right' age gap! Our first baby, Nur Addeena Zahra was born on the 3rd of August, 2010. Currently, we were expecting another baby around January, 2012. So the age gap between the two would be 1 year and 5 month. But if we looked only at the year 2010 and 2012, there are 2 years difference. Meaning that when Addeena is in standard 3, her little bro/sis would be in standard 1. So, I guess it is okay. Hopefully they would still share the same syllabus so that the same text book can be reused by her little bro/sis. Kedekutnye papa!

In the long term, a small age gap would probably means having all the 'messy eating years, sleep deprivation, baby crying and untidy house' to be concentrated in one short period (when we were still young). Then we can relax. Since both of us is working, it is easier for us to sort out childcare for two children of a similar age together.

Starting to blog

Assalamualaikum..

actually we have been waiting to try and start a blog for awhile now but didn't have anything too interesting to "blog" about. Now since we are expecting another baby early next year, I think this will be a great way to help our families stay in touch with our soon-to-be growing family. Insyaallah, we will try our best to make this blog as interesting as possible. :)
